DIY~ Unbelievably Beautiful and Easy Wedding or Christmas Decor!

Please click on the following link to see my full YouTube tutorial:

This project is so easy and inexpensive to make and you won't believe the results! The first thing you will need is a an inexpensive piece of decor from the Dollar Tree or your favorite thrift store. You want to find something that has a nice shape to it. It doesn't matter if it's a "cheaply painted angel figurine from the Dollar Tree" because you aren't going to look at how the object looks NOW. You need to look at the overall shape and envision what it WILL look like with a shiny coat of paint and some added bling. Oh yes, that comes next! I found some beautiful spray paint at Michael's for a little over $6.00, however, if you use your coupon, it will be much less. The paint I used is by Krylon in Premium Original Chrome. They also have this in Copper and Gold. If you aren't sure where you can locate this paint in your area, just go to the Krylon website and there is a tab that says, "Locate Retailer." I found my birds last Summer on a Michael's clearance rack for about $1.50 each. I didn't know what I was going to do with them at the time, however, I'm so glad I picked them up. Okay, just lay out some newspaper outside and secure the newspaper with masking tape so the wind won't blow the paper onto your project. Make fairly wide sweeping motions with your arm as you are painting your object. Allow plenty of drying time so there won't be any accidental fingerprints . When everything is dry, attach some quality,  sticky flat back rhinestones on your object. Add just enough to give it a touch of elegance and sparkle. That's all there is to it! You can use your piece of decor to make beautiful candle or flower arrangements for any holiday or occasion. These would also make lovely party favors as well!

Crustless Apple Pie Recipe

Crustless Apple Pie
Peel, cut and core 5-6 large Granny Smith, Fuji or Gala apples. I have a great apple peeler that cuts and cores at the same time. Then mix in 2 teaspoons of Cinnamon, 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 2 rounded tablespoons of flour. Pour apples into a large 9 inch glass pie dish that has been lightly sprayed with cooking oil.

Next, mix the following topping ingredients and pour on top of the apples.
1/4 Cup Melted Butter 1/2 Cup Packed Brown Sugar 1/2 Cup Quick Oats 1/2 Cup Flour 1/8 Teaspoon Baking Soda 1/8 Teaspoon Baking Powder

Bake pie in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 35 minutes or until bubbly and brown.
